Telemarketing: Easy Access to Life Insurance Products

In line with the increasing awareness on the importance of having insurance protection, the interest level on life insurance products is also increasing.

Looking at the increasing interest level and in order to provide easier and wider access to life insurance products for its customers, CIMB Sun Life in cooperation with Bank CIMB Niaga, offers life insurance products through our telemarketing channel. Through this channel, potential customers – who is CIMB Niaga’s saving account and/or credit card holders - are contacted directly by CIMB Niaga’s Telesales Officer, offering the following products:

  • Asuransi X-Tra Medika Plus - a hospital income plan with refundable of premium – giving customers daily hospitalization benefits due to illness and accident, with 50% return of premium when policy reached maturity, with our without hospital claim. Asuransi X-Tra Medika Plus also provides death benefits for the insured.*
  • Asuransi X-Tra Siaga Plus - a personal accident product with 50% refundable of premium at maturity. This product provides daily hospitalization due to an accident benefit until maximum of IDR750,000 per day and also death benefit due to an accident up to IDR500 million.*
  • Asuransi X-Tra Siaga - a personal accident insurance without refundable of premium. Asuransi X-Tra Siaga provides daily hospitalization due to accident until maximum of IDR750,000 per day and death benefit due to accident benefit up to IDR500 million.*

When calling potential customers, Telesales Officers will explain and ask about:

  1. Products and benefits
  2. Type of works and health selection
  3. Other purchased insurance
  4. Product purchasing confirmation
  5. Application Form
  6. Terms and Conditions
  7. Customer Contact No.

As a potential customer, you can freely ask any questions relating to the product should there any unclear information about it. Confirming that the product you are about to purchase is most suitable to you and your family needs of life insurance protection is very important.

After agreeing to buy the product, Telesales Officer will assist you in filling the insurance application form. All conversation will be recorded in a system and would be used as our basis of further insurance application process and Policy issuance. You will receive your Policy document within 20 days after the application has been approved.
